We are currently looking for a Contract Manager to join our team in Wigan on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a Contract Manager, you will manage our contracts with Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council.
Ensuring that contractual and corporate KPI targets are met, you will operate the three Wigan Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) contracts, the Judkins HWRC, the Kirklees Transfer Station facility and the K2 Organics Transfer Station.
Focusing on profitability, recycling and diversion percentage rate, you will ensure effective service delivery, strong customer communication and growth in terms of centre uptake and organisational enhancement.
About You
To be considered as a Contract Manager, you will need:
- Operational management experience
- Experienced managing teams in a production environment
- Experience managing Health and Safety
- Experience delivering to production and financial targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- To hold a Transport Manager CPC and have up to date knowledge of Transport Management
- An IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualification
