Supervisor
Salary – £31,235 - £36,972 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location – Havering, RM12 5BF
As a Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will lead and support your team to deliver an effective and efficient waste management service. You’ll be responsible for ensuring operational compliance, managing resources, and maintaining high safety and performance standards.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Supervising daily operations, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards and waste management legislation
- Managing resources efficiently and reporting issues to the Service Delivery Manager
- Leading a team to meet operational targets
- Conducting audits and maintaining accurate records
- Managing team communications, schedules, training, and updates to employee-related paperwork
- Supporting operations where required and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within refuse/recycling collections
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Experience in quality control and conducting audits
- IOSH qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic IT skills
- A full Category B driving licence (essential) and an LGV licence (desirable)
- A management or supervisory qualification is preferred
